Toyota Dream Car Art Contest - Uganda Announces 2025 Winners

CFAO Mobility Uganda recently announced the winners of the 18th Edition of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. This prestigious competition, aimed at inspiring young minds to envision the future of mobility, attracted over 200 participants from across Uganda. The winners were unveiled on 14th March at a grand ceremony held at the CFAO Mobility Kampala Branch on First Street, Industrial Area.

The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest encourages children under 15 years old to express their creativity through art, imagining what the future of mobility could look like. The categories in the contest included 7 years and under category, 8 – 11 years category and 12 – 15 years category. The top three winners in each category at the national level won school fees, and will now proceed to the World Contest, where they will compete for global recognition and additional prizes. The other winners received exciting prizes like shopping vouchers, shirts, and bags.

2025 Uganda National Winners

Ages 7 and Under (Category 1) Winners:

Winner: Talitha Nshuti Rwabose - Manifest International School - "Let There Be Light Car, Air Filter Car, The Mosquito Zapper Car" (UGX 2 million for school fees and entry into the World Contest)

1st Runner-up: Jason Alexander Kawamara - Cherubs Preschool - "United in Music Car"

2nd Runner-up: Maxwell Arinaitwe - Profla Primary School - "Joy School Bus"

Ages 8-11 Years (Category 2) Winners:

Winner: Elizabeth Namuyiga - Muteesa II Kindergarten and Junior School Mukono - "Toyota Exer" (UGX 2 million for school fees and entry into the World Contest)

1st Runner-up: Asiphiwe Manzi Rwabose - Manifest International School - "No Air Pollution Car, Kitezi Landfill Extractor, 3D Printing Car"

2nd Runner-up: Tashvi Prabhakar Shetty - Kabojja International School - "My Creative Lady Bird Car"

Ages 12-15 Years (Category 3) Winners:

Winner: Avni Chintu Vaswani - Aga Khan School - "Robogenie" (UGX 2 million for school fees and entry into the World Contest)

1st Runner-up: Linda Lesley Mukisa - Bishop Cipriano Kihangire Secondary School - "The Cosmic Ride"

2nd Runner-up: Precious Tusasiirwe - Crested Secondary School - "Pollution Control Truck for Rubbish"

 

Speaking at the event, Isaac Tegule, Marketing Manager at CFAO Mobility Uganda, expressed his excitement at the high level of creativity displayed:

“This contest is a celebration of young minds and their ability to imagine a better future. We are incredibly proud of all the participants and the talent they have showcased. It’s inspiring to see how Ugandan children are thinking about the future of mobility in such innovative ways. We look forward to seeing how our national winners perform on the global stage.”

The three category top winners representing Uganda in the World Contest will compete with talented young artists from across the globe to win USD 5,000, while their schools will be awarded USD 10,000. The six runners-up per category will each win USD 3,000.
